Howdy folks!
Welcome to the new version of the Doremi Fansubs site. From here on out, we’ll be posting all our new releases and news here. The forums will no longer be a thing due to inactivity.
I’m still working out a few things, so it might take a bit for the site to reach full functionality. Also, rctgamer3 is giving me a hand with porting over old pages from the forums as well as old release announcements.

Sad to see the old site go. I didn’t even get around to posting my next pic for the “what anime is it” thread (BTW, for those who want to know, it was “Ryou No Oshigoto!” or “The Ryou’s Work is Never Done!”). Well, we’ll see how well this side goes.

Sorry about that. I didn’t want to do it in some ways, but with the general lack of interest in the forums and from a maintenance point of view, it made more sense to switch over to a blog format that’s more suited to our needs and is regularly updated by its authors. Not to mention there are more readily available extensions for it, so we can deploy new things as time goes on.
That being said, I could create a section for you guys to post in using the comments so you could keep that up.

Even the “What’s that Anime” thread was also suffering from a very low posting frequency.
Mike, any word as to the fate of the three manga groups that (on the old site’s layout) had links from the Doremi main page on the right hand margin?

I’ll be updating those links in question as I have a couple of sites that were changed around (or disappeared). Right now, I’m trying to get content ported over. Rctgamer3’s working on a script (I think) to convert some of the content into a format that WordPress will recognize.

Honestly, I’m a bit surprised something like this didn’t happen earlier. This place has been pretty much dead since Doremi finished the V1 sub of its flagship and dropped subbing of Precure.
Anyways, my only feature request is a way to read entire posts from the front page and only needing to load a separate page if I want to read the comments. I wouldn’t think that too difficult since pretty much every other blog I have bookmarked works that way and this is the only one that displays the first sentence or two and makes you click a read more link to get the full post.

Yeah, the skin we’re using seems to cut off post length. I’m looking into that, hopefully I can extend it past 200 characters to something like 1024.

Just following up on your comment, I’ve found a way to increase the content length on the main page now. 1024 words should be enough, lol.
