Still alive, still watching anime.
It's been 2 years since the last one, let's get right into it. Winter 2021 1) Wonder Egg Priority Worth watching for the animation alone. However the ending is chotto... 2) Re:Zero 2nd Season Part 2 A lot of yapping, slow payoff, but overall worth it. 3) Cells at Work! Season 2 Must watch as a Cell Bio major. 4) Yuru Camp Season 2 More Yuru Camp goodness. 5) Attack on Titan: The Final Season More Attack on Titan! Spring 2021 1) Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song Interesting show about AI, automation, and good old fashioned backstabbing. 2) Odd Taxi This is a masterpiece. Great writing, great mystery, great characters. 3) Zombie Land Saga: Revenge More shenanigans with our favorite zombies. 4) Super Cub Slice of life distilled down to a high school girl and her Honda Super Cub. Summer 2021 1) Kobayashi-san Chi no Maidragon S Kyoto animation is back with another season of dragon action. 2) Bokutachi no Remake Interesting take on time traveling romantic comedy. 3) I'm Standing on a Million Lives Season 2 The animation continues to be terrible but the show is strangely watchable. 4) Kageki Shoujo!! Drama. Drama everywhere. Also has tall genki girl. 5) Love Live! Superstar!! More Love Live! Better than Nijigasaki! Fall 2021 1) Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc More Demon Slayer! Includes added scenes not in the movie. Winter 2022 1) Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc More Demon Slayer! 2) The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Gary Stu and political intrigue and Isekai somehow combines to make a great show. 3) Akebi's Sailor Uniform Amazingly lewd! Spring 2022 1) SpyxFamily Amazing rendition of the manga. Anya so cute! 2) Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 3 More librarian shenanigans. Summer 2022 1) Lycoris Recoil Lesbian tendencies, gunkata, political intrigue, what's not to like? 2) Isekai Yakkyoku Genius pharmacist isekai also plays Doctor. Fall 2022 1) Chainsaw Man Interesting rendition of the manga so far. 2) Mob Psycho 100 III Still amazing. 3) BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War 20 years, worth the wait! 4) Bocchi the Rock! Basically Hitoribocchi plus rock music. 5) Akiba Maid War Maids and gang fights. 6) Do It Yourself!! Amazing slice of life with just the right amount of tsun. 7) Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury Gundam and Yuri! And Mamiko Noto! 8) Yama no Susume: Next Summit Eagerly awaiting new material after episode 4! 9) Management of Novice Alchemist Probably the closest to an Atelier anime that's not an Atelier anime.
Time to get caught up now that I passed my board exam. I am now officially an attending Pediatrician! Fall 2019 1) Sword Art online Alicization - War of the Underworld - Not gonna lie, this was pretty hype. 2) High Score Girl II - great show, depicts the gaming culture from the 90s to the 2000s quite well. Winter 2020 1) Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T - Amazing sequel, worth the 7 year wait. Spring 2020 1) Kakushigoto - heartwarming, simple yet effective artwork. 2) Wave, Listen to Me! - Surprise hit of the season, glorious ED song, glorious main character voice actress. Summer 2020 1) Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season First Cour - Lots of things happened, and yet nothing really happened. 2nd Cour looks hype though. 2) Sword Art online Alicization - War of the Underworld Part 2 - So hype they went to SPACE! Fall 2020 1) Jujutsu Kaisen - MAPPA can do no wrong, very good classic shounen 2) Tonikaku Kawaii - So lewd... 3) Majo no Tabitabi - Some sort of lewd Kino's Travels? 4) Kamisama ni Natta Hi - Uh... 5) 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru - The budget's ass, the animation is quite off but the show itself is quite good, interesting take on Isekai. 6) Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club - Kind of different from the other seasons, all solo songs, no conflict. 7) Taisou Samurai - Surprise hit of the season, nice to see a grown man as the main character. 8) Is the Order a Rabbit? Bloom - More rabbits, more Aoyama Blue Mountain, more Chiya, more Chino!
Maceart and I don't watch too much anime now that both of us are working. Two shows are worth watching for Summer 2019: 1) Wasteful Days of High School Girls 2) The Demon Girl Next Door Spring 2019 Anime I finished: 1) One Punch Man S2 (It's okay) 2) Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu (It's hilarious)

The current “foe” in Hataraku Saibou (cells at work) episode 6 (with an upcoming continuation in episode 7) appears to be similar to what many in my family (Maternal grandmother, an aunt, both parents) had fallen victim to several years ago. (It’s also a major reason why the “Non-chan” OAV episode instantly hooked me on the Ojamajo series in 2006, three months prior to my joining the staff here) The drugs used to battle that disease though have far worse side effects than the steroids that were used against an allergic reaction to ceder in episode 5.
Based upon the collateral damage the steroid caused in that episode, can probably expect to see an Armageddon-like aftermath upcoming.
