—And now for an update regarding future Ojamajo-related projects—

Now that all 51 episodes have been v2’d and released, a batch will be released sometime very soon, either over the weekend, or sometime in the middle of next week. However, even with the revised v2s, a few errors still slipped past, and the following episodes will have minor v2.1 releases amended in the batch, and will also be available single via the IRC bot. The original v2 releases of these episodes will not be available on the batch, but will remain on the IRC bot instead. This list is subject to change:

Episode 1 – Missing fonts and subtitle chapters
Episode 2 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 21 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 22 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 23 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 30 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 33 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 34 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 35 – Font shading and borders will fail to display under certain conditions while in full screen
Episode 37 – In the next-episode-preview, Hayashi Ryota’s name is misspelled as Henshin Ryota

Following the batch, the first release of Sharp v2 will follow, as work has already been underway for sometime. Initially, we were planning to use DVDs as our raw source, but our S1-v2 raw provider, puto, has been gracious enough to obtain "HD" remasters of Sharp that have recently begun airing in Japan. Not all episodes have aired yet, as this is an on-going broadcast, but we will be using those as our base for Sharp, as opposed to the DVDs, since they result in a much higher quality picture. Currently it is unknown if other seasons will have remasters or not. If remasters for Motto, Dokkan, and/or Naisho happen, we will likely use those episodes for our raw source instead of the DVDs. If a remaster of season 1 happens sometime in the future, it is highly unlikely that we will revisit season 1 with these episodes due to the amount of time already invested into season 1 (making v3s is simply out of the question), but we may release the v2 scripts as stand-alone so those with access to the episodes can enjoy them.

I will make a news post once the batch is released and give another status update for Sharp.

Thank you for your patience and for enjoying Ojamajo Doremi.

Also happy birthday Onpu! 😀
